It wasn’t supposed to be like this…
Hogwarts was attacked, betrayed by Professor Jason Dunmorus and Severus Snape.
Students fled for cover while Professors and Aurors clashed with Deatheaters. Many died, few were maimed, plenty were scarred. The corridors of Hogwarts were soaked with blood, the sounds of screams echoed against the stone walls.
It was over. The smoke cleared. The bodies were cremated, the blood dried, the screams died away.
The Deatheaters won.
But victory in war does not mean peace. What does it mean to be a loyal Deatheater? Is it actions? Thoughts? Or simply blood?
Civil war has erupted, Deatheater fights Deatheater depending on their bloodline. More families are destroyed every day. Voldemort sits above it all, feeding on the hate and anger.
Hogwarts is reopened, a changed place. The ghosts have left. Unicorns, centaurs, any creature with a good heart has fled the Forbidden Forest. Evil things lurk there now, and day by day the forest itself encroaches on the Hogwarts grounds, feeding on the blood and pain and anger and fear.
To have muggle blood is to be cursed. Across Great Britain camps are being set up. If you do not tow the line, if you do not wear your badge, if you do not do what you are told, this is where you will end up, and this is where you will die.
Dumbledore, McGonagall, Lily, James, Sirius, they are all underground. They have a name, the Order of the Phoenix.
Peter is dead, one of many victims of what is now termed “The Hogwarts Massacre”.
Remus…poor Remus, is locked up in Azkaban in a cell lined with silver. He is let out for one thing, and that is not something anyone wishes to speak of, his screams will forever echo in the memories of his captors.
Now Europe is slowly being dragged in, English wizards helped the French Ministry during World War Two. Dunkirk happened because the wizards made it so, and now France is facing it’s own war as Voldemort turns his attention overseas. Once France succumbs Germany will be next, along with the Black Forest and every creature that lives there.
But as Voldemort turns to the rest of the West, his back will not be protected. The Order gives hope to those left alive. The Daily Prophet declares it as terrorism, the Quibbler reports the truth. What is going on in Azkaban? What is happening in the concentration camps? Why are female pureblood rebels taken to a laboratory in Devon?
