I Wanna Know What Love Is }{ Cooper

Jayden was positively soaring today. It was amazing, she had decided to wear something more casual than many people had seen her in. It was the spring time after all and it was a beautiful day. So she had settled on a -crisp red polo shirt and a pair of white shorts-. She wore a simple pair of sneakers so that walking would not be hard for her and she had kept her hair down. Because Cooper loved it down. She was so nervous when she was waiting for him that she nearly fainted. This would be their first outing as a couple. Well, outing of sorts. It was a date... right? They were dating so that had to mean it was. Relationships were so confusing. But Jayden didn't care... she was with Cooper, she was his. That was all that mattered to her now. She had a reason to smile again.

At this current time they were walking toward the food area. Cooper was nice enough to forgo most of the rides today, because she was terrified of heights... for reasons he knew of. So the rides they went on were the scrambler and ones like that, nice and close to the ground. Though Jayden was slightly interested in the Ferris Wheel... she was too terrified to even ask to go near it though. But she kept glancing at it during the day. She had never been on one before. She moved to the UK just before she started at Hogwarts from Italy... she she didn't grow up near London and never had really been around muggle things before. She saw the one in the heart of London and was fascinated with it... but after her heights accident as she got a little older, she dared not even look at it anymore. Sad actually... but it was her life.

Jayden let the thought slide out of her mind when she looked over to Cooper, he looked so happy. She sighed softly, a happy sigh, a content sigh. Her fingers laces elegantly through his, her free hand fiddling with the locket that Cooper had given her for Christmas. One of her most prized possessions, along with the ring with Adeline's name carved into it. Cooper was so amazing. She bit her lip, blushing softly as she looked from him and forced her attention to the different kiosks of food. She didn't really know what she was in the mood for today, they had nearly everything here. She thought for a moment before her eyes landed on a hot dog stand. That actually sounded... really good. She hadn't had a hot dog in what seemed like years. She then looked over to a cotton candy tender and smiled. Dessert.

[Cooper Dawson]

The day was beautiful, the atmosphere was grand, and everyone seemed to be having fun at the spring carnival. The carnival itself was for a very good cause. Support for those whose lives had been affected by the Cruciotus Curse and other spells and curses that could result in brain damage. As well as money to do research on how to reverse what was once permanent brain damage. He really hoped they raised a lot of money, he really did. At the moment however, he cared far more about the girl whose hand was in his. He didn't care that this was all for a good cause, he just wanted to make her the happiest girl in the world. Because he was certainly the happiest guy in the world.

He was dressed in -a white button up shirt and jeans- [[ignore the ugly girl]]. She was dressed very casually, but he didn't think it was possible for her to look more beautiful and he had told her that when they had met in the common room. Her hair was down and blowing in the wind, and she truly was a vision. Best of all, she was smiling. She looked happy, and that made him even more happy. It was a very good date so far.

He noticed, through out the day that she kept glancing up at the ferris wheel. She was terrified of heights, but if she weren't he knew she'd absolutely love the ferris wheel. Being able to see everything and everyone, it was just something she'd love. Maybe he could convince her later. He wouldn't push it, but maybe if he suggested it and reassure her everything would be okay she would agree. In general he avoided most of the rides. Jayden wasn't really a rides sort of person. Cooper enjoyed them, but he didn't really mind not going on them. Being with Jayden was so much better then riding some dumb ride. He took her on a few slower ones that were close to the ground though. They had decided to head over to do an early dinner before the rush. "So," he asked her lifting her hand and kissing the back of it softly. "Where would you like to eat?" he asked. "Nachos or hot dogs maybe? Then perhaps some cotton candy for dessert. Whatever you want."

Jayden smiled softly as she walked along the pathway with Cooper. It was such a wonderful day for a carnival and it was an even better day to be with Cooper. She couldn't stop smiling. It was like a fairy tale, a dream. Like something she had only ever imagined would happen, not something that could possibly become her reality. It was maddening how wonderful this was! She couldn't help but have a little spring in her step, a little swing in her hand as she held on to Cooper's. They were an official couple now, Cooper and Jayden. Together. She was so happy she couldn't even begin to describe how she felt. Her free hand, as usual, fingering the locket that Cooper had gotten her slowly. It was something she always did, sort of like a comfort when she was walking or reading. Not like a nervous thing, just something she did whenever. She liked the feel of it.

She smiled to Cooper as he kissed her hand gently. "I actually have really been craving a hot dog." she said with a slight chuckle. "I saw them coming in was it's been stuck in my head all day." she couldn't believe it, but it was true. It had likely been years since she had a hot dog. The last time was when there was a huge storm and the lights all went out at the manor and her brother conjured fire and they roasted some over it. They never got caught and most of the hot dogs didn't come out too good, but it was a wonderful time with her brother and one of her few good memories, well, the few before the massive load of good memories that she had gotten from spending time with Cooper and his family. He really was an amazing person. She loved being around him and she couldn't think of her life being any better.
