Gloria huffed rather ungratefully at the entrance to the carnival grounds. He was always bloody late, she thought to herself, and couldn't help but begin to tap her toe a bit. She really couldn't believe she was doing this, even after the number of weeks it had been going on- she, Gloria MacAvoy was dating her infamous antagonist Julian Cartwright. They had fought and argued their way into a relationship and now she was waiting for him .
Again.
Oh, how he irritated her! But somehow they were still together because there were those moments where the mutual fondness emerged, and it was a more intense feeling than she had ever read of in a book. There was also the fact of the more physical aspects, she thought with a blush rising to her slightly tanned skin. He, despite all his annoying habits, made her knees turn to noodles and brought out the more wanton side of the usually completely shy Ravenclaw.
She looked in at the game booths, her back to the path leading up to the Carnival. Most of them were magical, though there were the occasional muggle stand with balloon popping and ski-ball. She was almost eager to enter, which was surprising. She had hated carnivals at home.
[apologies for the length...getting back into my groove.]
