She held the panda tightly and leaned against Dominik as they walked around and he had an arm around her shoulder. She was very happy here with him. She couldn't imagine a better first date if she tried. They took turns playing- he was he was considerably better then she was. She was pretty good though. She hadn't played Quidditch since she was a kid for nothing. She had a feeling this date was going to end very, very well. Not that she wanted the date to end of course. Between the two of them they had quite the little collection of stuffed animals that Dom had enchanted to follow them.

The carnival part of their date was almost over. They were going to eat, and then the two of them were going to head back to their dorms to change and drop off all the prizes they had won. She looked around at all the food stands trying to decide what she wanted. There were so many choices and she kind of wanted a bit of everything. It was the kind of food you didn't get to have just every day. "Well I definitely want some cotton candy and funnel cake. I suppose we need more dinner like food too. What do you want? I'm not a very picky eater," she said looking up at him and smiling brightly.

[[ha ha! Yes, yes I am. =) Speaking of which, I'll just tell you here in case I forget. I think we should save the giving the note thing for later. I was thinking about it, and it would be totally cute if he kept it for a while. It would mean more. Oh, and that was EXACTLY what I wanted you to do. ^_^]]

Dominik chuckled softly as he looked at Danielle, she seemed rather possessive of that panda bear. Which was fine with him, it was the first thing he'd won her that day and he liked that she seemed so close to the things he'd gotten her. he could not believe how well this was going for him and her. He was absolutely giddy that she had agreed to come with him and now that she was with him here, he could feel that maybe, just maybe, he could have her all the time.

He nodded softly and thought to himself for a moment before turning to Danielle and smiling. "Be right back then." he said, before walking off and over to the concession stands. He ordered fries from one, corn dogs from another, some homemade lemonade from the drinks counter, grabbed a few bags of chips from the snack area and then walked back toward Danielle with a victorious look in his eyes. "Here we go." he said as he sat everything down and smiled to her. "Since you're not picky and I'm not picky, I got a little of everything."

He smiled at her gently and rested his hand on hers as he looked at her. "After this we can grab some dessert before heading to get ready for the dance this evening and dropping off..." he paused for a moment and looked at the mound of stuffed animals behind her, chuckling softly. "the loot." He winked at her softly before taking a french fry and eating it cheerily. He was really happy to be here today, the day was going amazing and if his plans went right - tonight would be even more amazing for them. He could not wait.

She grinned looking at the wide spread before her. He had gotten far more food then two people needed. He'd be surprised at exactly how much the tiny blonde could eat though. She had grown up with two older brothers after all, and she could keep up with them fairly well. "It looks great," she said chuckling as she grabbed one of the fries as well and popped it in her mouth. "And that sounds like a perfect plan," she said nodding. Her outfit for the dance was already sitting out. Risi had of course made fun of her for planning so carefully ahead, but she wanted to make him wait as little as possible! It really was a kind of strange way to do the dance right after the carnival. She figured it would work just fine though. She took a sip of lemonade and picked up her corn dog and started eating it. She didn't move her hand though. Nobody really needed two hands to eat after all. It was much better where it was.

"I love the animals Dom," she said with a grin. "Especially Molly," she said glancing at the panda bear next to her. She really was such a girl sometimes. Stuffed animals was definitely one of her things. Risi was going to tease her mercilessly about this. Suddenly the sun that had been shining on her was blocked, and the person didn't appear to be moving in some other direction. Danielle gave Dom a curious look before turning around to see a very familiar Ravenclaw who did not look very happy. "Cooper!" she said happily. She glanced over at Jayden and her grin widened. "Hi Jayden. I haven't talked to you in ages," she said smiling at her. "How're you enjoying the carnival?" she said glancing down at their hands which were still interlocked before glancing back up at them her eyes twinkling. Cooper's glare was not acknowledged by her in the slightest. If he took it too far she would pull him aside and scold him. She had done it before.

[[After. Like... at some milestone for them. Unless you want to go ahead and do it now!! I just thought it might be cool later after they've dated for a while. Just to show that he intentionally kept it because he thought it was important. Something most guys wouldn't have done... ?]]

Dom nodded and chuckled as he began to eat his corndog as well, looking over at all of the animals. "Well, I wanted to show you a good time and give you something to remember said good time by... I wasn't expecting to be so good at giving of the memories though." he said with a soft head shake and an undeniably happy smile. He was glad that she was having a good time and he was even more glad that their good time would continue. He had never really expected to find someone quite like Dani in this school, or anywhere for that matter. She was like her own little ray of sunshine, from her bright smile to her shining eyes. It was a nice change from the life he had lead, always worried about his family and what would happen to them in this world, being muggles and all. But Dani didn't care about that, she was happy and she in turn made him happy.

His mind cascaded from the happy feeling into the "aw bollocks" mode when he caught sight of a familiar Ravenclaw, a very familiar Ravenclaw... the brother of said Hufflepuff who's hand he was holding at this point in time. Oh bloody hell... he thought to himself. He cleared his throat when he saw him and stood, his hand still in Dani's, he was not going to let her go just because her brother was over protective. He would work something out and he didn't mind working for Dani, he would do anything for her. He stood next to Dani as she looked up at her brother, positioning his hand more comfortably within hers, lacing their fingers together as they had been previously. "Hello Cooper, it's good to see you," he paused and looked to Jayden, "and you as well, looking as lovely as ever Jayden." he complimented.

Jayden nodded to Dani softly and smiled faintly, a smile that, though small, reached her eyes. She was happy for the first time in, well, her entire life. She was happy to be with Cooper, literally. She was his now. She held Cooper's hand gently, yet firmly, her thumb sliding soothingly along the top of his hand, hoping that this small display of affection and comfort would lessen the hardened look in his eyes long enough for Dani and Dom to explain what was actually going on, though it was of course rather plain to see. Dom was infatuated with Danielle and she too, enjoyed being with him. Jayden looked from Dani to Dom and nodded gently. "Hello Dom," she looked back to Dani, "and Dani. It is good to see you both. It has been a while, I am very sorry for my lack of presence recently, I won't allow it to happen again." she said gently.

Dom nodded to Jayden and smiled kindly to her. "That is good, I know everyone in this group has missed your company." he said to her before looking to Cooper now. He looked him in the eyes coolly and smiled slightly, before looking back down at Dani. "I have asked Danielle to the dance tonight, along with having asked her to the carnival." he said as he looked back to Cooper now, speaking to him calmly, not wishing to elevate any hostility. He liked Cooper, he was a good guy and had an amazing sister. He just hoped that Cooper would see how much Dani meant to him and allow them to see each other, because he was very intent on asking Dani to be with him this evening. But he needed to do something first. "Cooper, think I could talk to you alone for a minute? Let the girls catch up?" he asked.
