Brief History:
Her mother was a Department of Mysteries Official and her father was an Auror. When she was five years old, a couple of Death Eaters show up to torture some information out of them. Sophia's three siblings are upstairs, but Sophia is downstairs. The Death Eaters break in and start torturing the parents, but they refuse to tell. Meanwhile, the siblings heard the commotion and her oldest sibling, 10 year old Stephen, sends his little brother through the floo network to get help. He hides their baby sister and goes down to see what is happening. Meanwhile, the death eaters are getting nothing out of Mommy and Daddy and turn their wands on Sophia. Stephen jumps in front of her and they torture both children before the Aurors show up. They immediately kill Mommy when they hear the noises, but somehow Daddy manages to get the Death Eater that killed the mother before the other one gets him. The Aurors show up and kill the other one on the spot so they don't kill the children.
Brief Personality:
Sophia has grown up very quiet and distant. She's very rarely really happy though she can put on a good act. She often has a sort of haunted look about her. She's sort of become like her siblings mother. Especially her younger sister Savannah, who can't even remember their parents. She stresses about everything, grades, family, friends, etc. She clings to people once you get past the walls, afraid she's going to lose them too. She'll most likely be a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor.
What kind of guy am I looking for?:
The son of the Death Eater that killed her mother and was killed by her father. It will be a well known fact that his father was a death eater because it was still in the early days of Lord Voldermort and it was well advertised since they killed two important people. It is believed that he might have been imperiused, up to you whether or not he was, but most people don't care and judge him for it. His older brother constantly rivaled her two brothers, and they were arch enemies. I'd kind of like the brother to be a death eater to, but that's up to you. Personality and how he's responded to his father's past is up to you. Obviously they'll have to deal with the fact that one of their parents killed one of the others parents and that their siblings hate each other.
Please let me know if you're interested. I won't make her unless someone is interested because I already have too many characters, but I have no control, lol. It's a pretty open plot still. All that I've come up with is the background. I think it would be fun, a little angst never hurt anyone.
