{ About The CHARACTER }
x Angelina Katherine Lewis"Ang"
CANNON OR ORIGINAL: Original YEAR: 6th AGE: 16 DOB: February 11 RACE: White GENDER: Female SEXUALITY: Straight WAND: 9 in, willow, swishy BROOM: n/a PET: A very small brown owl named Meggy.
APPEARANCE: Angelina looks like she’d be a lot more outgoing then she actually is. She has dark brown, curly hair that falls down to about her shoulders. (Give or take a few inches, her hair grows fast, and she cuts it often.) Her hair is usually down or clipped up if she’s cooking or studying. Ang’s eyes are blue. They sort of blend in with the crowd, but when she’s especially happy or in the sun they stand out a lot more. Angelina is about average height standing at 5’5, and her body type is average. (Despite the fact she eats a lot of baked goods, and food in general she isn’t overweight.) She rarely wears make-up, unless she’s in an odd mood or a friend convinces her to do so. She’s not a fan of the short skirts that come with their Hogwarts uniforms so she’s usually dressed in muggle clothing when her uniform isn’t required. She usually wears jeans and t-shirts or other plain shirts. Her wardrobe includes more than that though because her mother enjoys shopping, and occasionally she’ll wear something nicer.
Angelina’s emotions are extremely easy to read in her face. Her eyes, or her cheeks, usually give her away. Whenever she’s embarrassed she blushes, and it’s easy to embarrass her. Her eyebrows wrinkle when she’s confused or thinking hard about something. It’s easy to tell when she’s angry, upset, or just in a bad mood. If she tries to cover up how she feels it usually makes it worse. She’s also clumsy. She stumbles multiple times a day, and probably falls an average of once a day. She runs into things and bumps her head on a regular basis. Not to mention she couldn’t walk in a straight line to save her life. This only gets worse when she’s nervous or distracted. This is one of the reasons she’s bad at every sport there is. FACE CLAIM: Sophia Bush
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Most people see Angelina as a shy, quiet, bookworm who spends a lot of time alone in the kitchens and studying. Some even call her antisocial. However, that would be a rather incorrect term to apply to her. Ang is shy, and quiet, until you get to know her that is. Once she gets comfortable around people she’ll talk, and she’ll talk a lot if you get her going. (If you catch her alone while she’s baking she’s much more likely to feel comfortable around you quicker since she’s most like herself then.) Once she starts being herself, she’s friendly, happy, and a bit on the sarcastic side. Angelina does spend a lot of time by herself, and she’s perfectly happy alone as long as she has a book or baking ingredients and an oven. However, she’s perfectly willing to spend time with people, and she’s just as happy doing that. (Though she does prefer smaller groups.) Angelina cares a lot about the few friends she has. Because she doesn’t have the over whelming need to talk all the time, she makes a really good listener.
As mentioned, Ang spends a lot of time by herself following her ‘obsessions’ as she calls them. She inherited a love of reading and learning from her mother. She reads quite a bit, and always has a book in her bag in case she has some free time, and she can never pass a bookstore without going in. She also spends a lot of time studying. She’s a muggleborn, and her mother loves that she has this opportunity, and Ang wants to make her mother proud of her. Not to mention she wants to learn as much about the wizarding world as she can since she didn’t have the advantage of learning the culture as she grew up. Despite this bond Ang shares with her mother, she really is a Daddy’s girl. Her father owns a café, and Ang grew up there. He started teaching her to cook as soon as she was big enough to stir and the two spend a lot of time together. Angelina developed a passion for baking, and she even wants to own her own bakery. (Thankfully she got her mother’s brains so she’ll be able to manage the finances. Something her mother does in their café.) Ang adores her younger siblings, but like all younger siblings, they really can get on her nerves. She spends her summers watching them or helping her father out in the café. She’s a perfectionist, especially when it comes to baking. Angelina bakes far more than she could possibly eat herself, so she doesn’t mind sharing. In fact, she loves sharing which is why she wants to open a bakery. She feels it’s a way she can give something to the world and still do something she loves. After all, who doesn’t feel at least a little bit cheered up when they’re sad and someone gives them a cookie?
Angelina is the kind of person to stress and worry a lot. She worries constantly that one day it will be her family on the cover of the Daily Prophet. She tends to avoid the people who might be associated with the Death Eaters. She also stresses about her school work and exams far more then she needs to. She worries about her friend’s problems as if they were her own. She also worries about what others think about her too much. In some ways she doesn’t care. She doesn’t mind if people see her as nerdy or shy or if her hair isn’t just perfect. She does worry about sounding or looking stupid in front of a big group of people. Angelina also worries about whether or not people who act like they like her, actually like her. She’s also terribly oblivious about some things. She doesn’t really notice the people around her, and she tends to tune the world out. She’s absolutely clueless about all things romantic. A guy could be madly in love with her and she might never notice despite all the books with love stories in them she’s read. Something that probably plays into the oblivious thing is the fact that she’s clumsy. BOGGART: The Dark Mark above her parents café. PATRONUS: A rabbit HOPES FOR THE FUTURE: Ang would like to open her own bakery and graduate with good marks on her NEWTs.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: She’s really good at baking. BLOOD: Muggleborn BIRTHPLACE: A small village near London MY FAMILY: Jerry Lewis [Father, owns a café] Lorraine Lewis [Mother, helps in the café] Kristen Lewis [Sister- 9] David Lewis [Brother- 9] Haley Lewis [Sister-3] WHATS IN THE PAST: Jerry Lewis hadn’t opened up the café yet when he met 17 year old Lorraine Rice. She was in town visiting her grandparents, and she walked into the restaurant he was working as a cook in one day because her grandparents had gone to London for a doctor’s appointment. It was a small restaurant, with only three workers. Lorie ordered the Chef’s salad before her entree, and Jerry made it. Lorie was alone, and she read was reading a novel so she didn’t see the carrots sprinkled throughout her salad. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately since the two would have never met if it weren’t for this) Lorraine was (and is) highly allergic to carrots. About halfway through her salad Lorraine’s cheeks began to swell, her eyes began to itch, and her throat began to swell in that order. Lorraine didn’t notice until her throat began closing up and she noticed about the same time as the waitress who was the only other one in the restaurant at the moment. The waitress began to panic and called for help. That’s when Jerry came in the kitchen. His sister had allergies so recognized what was happening. He very calmly told the waitress to call in the other cook, picked her up, took her out to his car, and drove her to the hospital before Lorraine could say a word. Jerry felt responsible for some silly, and he didn’t want to leave the pretty girl alone in the hospital (though perhaps that wasn’t the only reason), so he stayed with her. When she was able to talk, he phoned her grandparents for her, and drove her home when the doctor’s said it was okay. The two talked, and drove around for a few hours before he finally drove her home. She showed up the next day at closing to get her purse and book she had left behind. He walked her home, and the two sat outside her grandparents’ house and talked for hours.
The two started dating soon after that, fell in love, and after two years of dating got married. Jerry, with a lot of help from Lorraine, started his own café and the two lived in the apartment about it. Angelina Katherine Lewis was born a year and half after they got married. Ang spent the majority of her childhood in the café while her mother and father worked. She learned to read and cook at a young age due to both her parents’ passions. When she was seven her mother had the twins, Kristen and David. Ang adored her brother and sister… usually. Angelina grew up relatively normal for a muggle child. However, sometimes strange things happened around her. If she left cookies in the oven too long, even if you could smell the burning, sometimes they came out perfect. If she was trying to reach a book on one of her mother’s high shelves it would fall of the shelf into her hands. As she got older the strange things started to happen more and more often and got even stranger and Lorraine and Jerry were starting to get worried. When she turned 11 Ang and her parents found out why when someone from the school showed up to explain things to them. Lorraine had always loved fantasy and fairytale stories and was thrilled to find out stuff like that actually existed. Jerry was fine with it because Lorraine was. Ang had inherited her mother’s love for fantasy stories as well, and she wanted to go. So when September first came around Angelina went to Hogwarts with her tiny new owl and trunk full of school supplies. During her third year her mother had another child, another sister named Haley. Ang found the kitchen at school and still cooks and bakes especially when she’s at school as well as when she’s home.

RP EXAMPLE:[As Jenny, from a post in the middle of Now It’s Your Turn] She thought about his question. It was a good question, something she wouldn't have thought to ask. "I'm not really sure," she said clearly still thinking about it. "I don't think it does exactly, but if you think you need something it's always there it seems. Like you could probably find whatever book you wanted on the shelves out of the hundreds you probably know. There aren't that many books here though. If you wanted something totally bizare that wouldn't be found in a room like this I don't know if it would be here." She had analyzed all this out as she spoke and she probably sounded like some crazy person. She laughed and shrugged her shoulders. "If that makes any sense at all, I'm just rambling on. I don't use the room that often. I spend most of my time outside or in the Gryffindor common room." She took another sip of hot chocolate from her mug already feeling much warmer than she was when she first came in the room. She smiled when he popped a marshmellow in his mouth. They were already getting quite comfortable around each other as friends really were.
She laughed again when he said that it was just a normal day rather than a snow day. "My Ravenclaw sisters say stuff like that too," she told him. "Especially Hannah. She was always the hardest to convince to come play outside because we had to drag her away from whatever book she was reading or re-reading." She nodded when he asked if she had any favorite books. "I suppose so. I've always enjoyed Peter Pan. It was one of the first books Hannah read when she was learning. She used to read it outloud to me all the time. I don't know, there's just something about the idea of never growing up," she said smiling and biting her bottom lip as she stared off not looking at Enny. She turned and looked back at Enny before continuing in a playful tone, "Plus all the adventures. You know how we Gryffindors love a good adventure." That was very true. In a different way from the Ravenclaws though. Ravenclaws prefered the ones on the pages of book while Gryffindors prefered to live them. (Stereotypically of course. Jenny knew that people were not simply so black and white, or red and blue in this case. ) "It sounds like I can have a favorite because I don't read as much actually," she said with a grin.
She watched with interest as he picked up his cookies. It was an odd way to hold them. Very odd in fact, but it looked like he had reasoning behind it. She picked up one cookie and ate it normally, but her eyes were still on his hand. She didn't know why it looked so interesting, but it did. She didn't comment on it though before he asked her something else and her mind was on something else entirely. She wasn't hard to side track. "Well I thought we'd read. You know, to get the full affect and all," she said nodding. "It wouldn't be your turn if we didn't read would it?" she asked him. She paused before continuing taking another sip of hot chocolate. "Only," she said, "I don't actually want to sit here and read silently to myself. It sounds kind of dull. So I thought you could read something. Plus, I thought it would give more of the affect, you know? Like maybe I'd see why you love reading more easily if you read it out loud to me? I think it would work much better." She took a bite of cookie finishing the one in her hand. "So pick something out. Anything! Your choice completely, because it's your turn now," she said with a grin and covered her eyes. "I won't peak until you're ready." She was still a little chilly and it seemed proper for the mood so she set her mug on the coffee table and arranged the blanket on her leaving plenty loose if Enny were chilly as well all while still covering her eyes. She managed to arrange herself and the blanket and pick up the mug of hot chocolate without spilling a drop or uncovering her eyes. Then she leaned back on the couch sipping her hot chocolate as she waited for Enny to select a book. ANSWER: Remus and Tonks lack of death scene >.> OTHER:
