Tom Marvolo Riddle was a troubled kid. His mother was a witch, his dad a muggle. But of course, we all know about his past. What we don't know, is what he is doing now. Him and his followers have taken over the Ministry of Magic, he has undercover Death Eaters running all over Hogwarts, and also Death Eaters in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. His plan to get into Hogwarts is becoming a complete success so far, but how is it that is's still the safest place to be?
Albus Dumbledore is the current headmaster of Hogwarts. He has aurors working there as well as Death Eaters, and is always looking out for the best will of the students. Quite recently however, the Ministry of Magic decided to send Dumbledore off, leaving Minerva McGonagall in charge. Running the school is leaving her head spinnning, so she calls in the help of the Minister of Magic. He only pretends to be a Death Eater for the sake to stay Minister, but he is really on the side of the newly found Order of The Phoenix.
Though Dumbledore has been sent away, he still has the support of the Order behind him. He founded this Order to ward off Voldemort from becoming Headmaster of the school, and to take over the whole wizarding world. So far, they are doing their work, but how long can they ward off the most powerful dark wizard? It can't be too long with Dumbledore banished, and unable to be in control of his students and his school.
Now, you may be asking, "What do the Marauders have to do with all of this?" Well, they aren't the stupidest fifth years known to man. They know that something is wrong in the school, and that all the teachers aren't on their side. They want to help. But what are four fifth years and their friends going to do? They'll help out the Headmaster as best as they can. Now, these boys still are pulling pranks, getting detentions, but it's more than that. The school wide war is going to continue, and the teachers will do anything to stop it. But, all the kids need to face the rumors, the relationships, and the heart ache.
