Sign up for Astronomy here.
This course will include weekly classes scheduled during the day and practical labs at midnight on Fridays. Lessons range from not only mapping the position of the stars and planets, but also their influence on the magic, behaviors, and beings on earth.
To take this course at a NEWT level then you will need to have received an E or above on your OWLs.
As a new professor, I can hardly wait to meet you all, and I hope to see you in my class.

Why have you decided to take Astronomy?: Because it's a fun class and I've enjoyed it since the begining.

Why have you decided to take Astronomy?: Well, my best friend is fascinated with star gazing and with the study of Astronomy. And because we only get to see each other in the holidays, I want to take the lesson to learn more and to feel closer to him.

Why have you decided to take Astronomy?: Astronomy has been one of the most interesting classes since I was first talked into taking it. Anything that helps me connect with the sky better- during the night or day- is an alright class in my book.
What do you hope to learn in this class?: Hopefully some more background on the mythological side of the constellations.

Why have you decided to take Astronomy?: This is the one class that has helped keep my mind off of everything that's gone bad in my life. The predictions and theories you can get out of the stars are more reliable and trustworthy then anything you can ever get out of a class like Divination. Not to mention, the thought of a new professor is highly intriguing.
What do you hope to learn in this class?: I want to learn more about the influence the stars have on the creatures/people of our world...and to hopefully better understand why it is people and things do the things that they do.
