WHY YOU ARE TAKING DIVINATION/WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT: I think the subject is extremely useful. I mean come on, knowing what's going to happen in advance? It doesn't get much better than that! I've since learned it isn't flat out knowing what exactly is going to happen, but rather reading signs and learning more general ideas of what might happen. I seem to have a knack for it though, which kind of surprised old Professor Seloff. That darling, old woman loved me though, and she didn't compare me to my sisters for once. (Of course I don't think she could remember them either, she was really old.)
WHAT YOU EXPECT TO GAIN FROM THESE CLASSES: I hope to learn some more upper level Divination, and hopefully still have the knack for it as it gets harder. I also hope to have a good time in the lessons, and have a memorable experiance.

WHY YOU ARE TAKING DIVINATION/WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT: I think the whole idea of Divination is really fascinating. Predicting the future, how awesome is that? The Divination teacher at my old school was amazing, and I'm hoping to have the same experiance.
WHAT YOU EXPECT TO GAIN FROM THESE CLASSES: I hope to actually learn a thing or two about Divination and perhaps continue it on to NEWT level. It doesn't really have anything to do with my desired profession (Auror), but I enjoy it!

Well, sometimes it's frightfully boring but frankly if there's a way to know what my somewhat dubious future holds, I'll take it. Besides, new teacher this year- it's always interesting to see fresh professors settle in at Hogwarts.

WHY YOU ARE TAKING DIVINATION/WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT: I'm a skeptic, of course. I wouldn't have even taken the bloody class if I hadn't met the professor on the train. Since I did, though, I'm going to give the subject a try.

WHY YOU ARE TAKING DIVINATION/WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT: Annie has always been fascinated with things like predicting the future. It started off when she was six years old and claimed to have a dream that her sister broke her arm. Two days later, her sister ended up breaking her arm after trying to climb a tree. Convinced that it was vision, Annie began to explore dream interpretation as well as Numerology and Palmistry.
WHAT YOU EXPECT TO GAIN FROM THESE CLASSES: Anne hopes to gain much more extensive knowledge about what she already knows from previously read Muggle books.

WHY YOU ARE TAKING DIVINATION/WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT: I go against most of my other housemates in that I find this subject actually very interesting instead of silly. I have a knack for interpreting the vague signs given to me from the processes I've been taught, and especially clarifying them somewhat. I also find the concept somewhat romantic.
WHAT YOU EXPECT TO GAIN FROM THESE CLASSES: A better knowledge of the future and further developing yet another skill.

Make up something to do with flying elephants and speak in a creepy voice and BAM! It's all good. I'm not going to do it in future years (Aparantly I'm going to be killed by a rampaging blue Whale anyway, so I don't think the professor minds) but I may as well go for it now.
