Twenty-five years ago Albus Dumbledore spoke these very words. It was a time of danger, a danger more powerful than any the wizarding world had ever seen. The Dark Lord's followers were multiplying underneath the Ministry's radar. They infiltrated the ministry, though it was ignored. The world as they knew it was almost completely destroyed by the vicious Dark Lord.
Lines were drawn in the sand, and many good witches and wizards fell to the wayside. The Ministry itself was in the palm of the hand belonging to the Dark Lord. The Order of the Phoenix rose up to fight this battle, head on, losing many members in the process. Sirius Black fell, and that was the beginning of The Boy Who Lived's rise. With only a few friends at his side, Harry Potter emerged as the only soul who could defeat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Namd.
The Dark Lord was destroyed in a legendary battle, along with half of the wizarding world. However, it was not the end, it would never be the end. Although the Dark Lord was defeated, his minions crept away into the dark shadows of that fateful night. The Death Eaters would not forget their defeat at the hands of a mere child. After much restructuring, and removal of incompetent members, the Dark Army started to mass once again.
Everything returned to normal for the students of Hogwarts. Time passed in a fleeting moment of peace. Yet, dark rumors engulf the world, and if you look from the corner of your eyes, sometimes the shadows move. Now its time to begin another year for the future students of Hogwarts, to take their places once again in the school that is loved so dearly.
As the student return to their studies they have no idea what awaits them. They will face love, betrayal, friendships, and heartbreaks but there is another danger stirring. Will they be able to handle it? What’s going to happen? You decide.
