Why do you want to do the lesson?: Aside from Transfiguration, DADA is James's favourite lesson. Its a chance for him to really learn to defend himself which is something he knows is necessary, especially now. He loves the practical side to it, finding the offensive spells extremely helpful when tormenting his enemies.
Hopes for the future James isn't really sure what he wants to be yet, he loves quidditch and to play professionally was always a dream for him, but now since Voldemort has been on the rise he quite fancies the glory of being an Auror.

Why do you want to do the lesson?: My family has always been into the Dark Arts, so I know a fair bit about them just by association with my family. However, the Dark Arts have always made me uneasy and I don't agree with my family on their views, and I want to know more about defending myself from them. I feel like the time is coming very soon when I'll have to defend myself and I want to be ready.
Hopes for the future Um... some of that's confidential, thank you very much. But as far as a job goes I'm not sure. Maybe a job with the Ministry or something, I dunno. An Auror sounds appealing at the moment, but as I said, I'm not sure.

All have been accepted. Remember, the 1st lesson is up for 6th and 7th years [which will be for the majority of those who've signed up.] When we get more 4th or 5th years i will start a lesson up for them. Same goes for 3rd to 1st years
