Welcome to Hogwarts: A Darkness Over The Horizon. Its the Golden Trio's 7th and Final Year. Their will be some changes and it wont follow the 7th Book. It will also not have Horcruxes or anything like that. It will have a Final Battle between the Dark Side and the Light Side.

Dear Student,
Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are either returning for another fun filled year or are just starting out as a First Year here. We welcome everyone New and Old, Muggle-Born's and/or Pure-Bloods and/or Half-Bloods.
To you First Years, you will have your own family with the walls of Hogwarts to where you are Sorted. You will either be Sorted in to Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw. You will discover who you are and what you will do with your life after School.
To you returning Students, you will have to help the First Years get used to everything. You will have to study hard if you are either a 5th year or 7th year cause you will have Tests at the end of the year.
There still will be Hogsmeade Weekends but their will some Professors at the Gates and walking around the Town making sure their is no trouble and everyone is following the rules. More will told the First Day of Hogwarts on September 1st at the Sorting Feast.

The Death Eaters seek the total destruction of Wizarding families of Muggle lineage, and complete power and control over the entire Wizarding world, restoring leadership in the magical community to the pure-bloods. The Death Eaters not only seek the restoration of pure-blood rule over the Wizarding community, but also the eventual subjugation of the Muggle community under Wizarding rule. Claims that Voldemort himself is a half-blood are dismissed because he is also Heir of Slytherin and in any case exercised complete control over the minds of his followers.

When the character of Tom Riddle began to use the name of Lord Voldemort and declared war on the Wizarding world, Dumbledore attempted to take control of the situation by founding the Order of the Phoenix. Several characters joined the organization, seeking with this to prevent Voldemort taking over the Wizarding world and establish a new world order.

Its time to pick your side of the War. Will you be on the Order of the Phoenix Side or will you be on the Death Eater's side or are you not sure where your Loyalties lie yet.
Gryffindor values courage, daring, nerve and chivalry above all else. Its mascot is the lion, and its colours are crimson and gold.
Hufflepuff, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, values hard work, loyalty, tolerance, and fair play above all else. The house mascot is the badger, and canary yellow and black are its colours.
Ravenclaw values intelligence, creativity, wit, and wisdom. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" is an oft-repeated Ravenclaw proverb. The house mascot is an eagle, the house colours are blue and bronze.
Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, resourcefulness, and pure blood heritage. The animal representing Slytherin is the serpent, and the house's colours are green and Silver.
