A History of Magic
By: Miranda Goshawk
Voldemort has taken control of the Ministry and plunged the English wizarding world into the greatest dark age it has ever encountered. Not only has he seated himself as Minister, but his Death Eaters also control Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. No one dares to speak out of turn for fear the person they are speaking to will report them to the Dark Lord. Witches and wizards now live in fear of their own friends. And the only boy that could have saved them is now parading as Voldemort's own son. Harry Potter, his parents slain, was taken under the Dark Lord's wing and raised with his same values. But will young Mister Harry follow in his pseudo-father's footsteps? Only time will tell.
Hogwarts: A History
By: Bathilda Bagshot
Headmaster Severus Snape has always been a little on the dreary side. And everyone, including the Dark Lord believes he is a loyal follower of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. But the secrets he carries within him prove otherwise. Lily Evans - at her death, Lily Potter - was the love of his miserable life and remains to this day his only source of happiness. Even though she has passed on, her spirit lives on in the form of her son. And Snape will do anything to protect him. And he will do anything to let him know of his true heritage. But will he be able to convince the heir to the Dark Lord? Or will Harry betray him for his lies? Does blood run thicker than magic?
Unfogging the Future
By: Cassandra Vablatsky
The fate of the wizarding world rests once again on the decisions of a young boy. Two outcomes are possible in this future. The first, and without a doubt the best outcome, would be that Harry believes Snape and discovers the truth about himself and the horrors of the Dark Lord. This will doubtlessly end with the Minister's downfall - perhaps even death. And the heir he had once counted on as security for his growing empire would be no more. The second outcome - and the worst, by far - would be that Harry believes Voldemort over the Headmaster. Severus Snape would be no more and one of the last ties to the truth would be eradicated. Surely such a tragedy would mean the end of hope for many people. But which path will be taken? And which will fall by the wayside? Perhaps Trelawney will know...
