APPEARANCE:

Alina has blonde 'platinum' hair. All it needs for it to be perfect is 'straight' right? Well Alina's hair is sometimes straight. It all depends on how she styles it. Narurally it is straight, but when it's humid or its wet it can go slightly wavy and even curly. Alina doesn't spend too much time messing around with her hair. It doesn't bother her because in her opinion, whatever style it's in she feels she looks sexy.

Tone wise, Alina is quite pale. She doesn't have that much color on her cheeks or anywhere else on her body. So she tends to darken her skin with makeup. Her grandmother was an albino, and she picked up some genes from that. Alina isn't ashamed of it; but it can give the wrong impression. And Alina has enough trouble as it is.

Being a metamorphagi; Alina can change her appearance to what she likes. But she tends not to, only when she doesn't want to be seen does she use it. And she'll do anything to make herself unrecognisable. But she prefers her natural looks over anything else. And the one thing Alina is truely proud of is her height. For a woman she's quite tall, being quite athletic she also has a good toned body. But Alina tends to hide this under her clothes. This and her bruises.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:

When asked, most people would descripe Alina as cold, ruthless, unfeeling and a nasty piece of work. These things are generally true. Alina is a cruel person; like her father she believes purebloods are the best wizards and witches. And that 'mudbloods' shouldn't be allowed in Hogwarts. And Alina makes this know, she doesn't see anything wrong with hexing mudbloods in the corridors, and doesn't care if she gets in trouble for it. As long as she's made it known that they aren't welcome, the professors can do what they like to her.

But behind that tough outer shell is a very nervous person. Because of the abuse from her father, Alina is very closed off. She keeps to herself and rarely talks to anyone, anything she does say is usualy cold and hard. Alina doesn't really know how to make friends so she's very nervous around other people and doesn't really know how to act.

However, deep deep VERY deep down there is a kind person at heart who longs to have friends and a normal life. She also longs to have love, something she's never known but has seen so much about. Because she's never known love she is often jealous. Which has made it harder for her to accuire friends.

Not many people realise it, but Alina is quite intellegent. But because of her reputation she keeps this hidden. Cruelty doesn't have room for a bookish personality. So if someone ever sees her high marks in lessons, she simply states that she had gotten someone else to do it. She fears someone finding out the truth. Because she feels she won't be accepted if they do.

WHATS IN THE PAST:

Alina's mother died giving birth to her. Her mother was only able to name her and to pass on a gift. Nearly a day later she died, leaving Alina's father to raise her by himself. It was hard work for him, how could it not be? Single father trying to look after his first ever child! Not something that is easy to pick up.

You would think that such commitment would cause Alina's father to be loving and overprotective wouldn't you? But sadly this wasn't the case for Alina. In fact her father was cold and cruel. Ever since Alina was young he would abuse her, hit her and cause Alina to have some sort of injury. Her father was blind with anger and hate, he blamed Alina for the death of his wife, and nothing Alina did could stop him.

As Alina got older it got worse, she resembled her mother and this didn't make her father happy. It only reminded him of what he had lost. But decipite the obvious hatred towards her, no one ever stopped it. Her father was a ministry worker and often used foul words about Alina. And yet no one seemed to stop it.

But as Alina grew towards the age when she'd start attending Hogwarts, she began to become cold herself. Slowly she closed herself off from the world and began to resent her father and everyone around her. She blamed everyone for her abuse and decided that the only way to escape, was to fight back.

So she began learning spells and hexes; they were quite weak ones. But she found them easy to do. When her father found out he was angry, but there was slight pride there aswell. So one side of the abuse ended. But it got replaced with him filling Alina's head with dark spells. And with no one to practise them on, Alina was shown first hand how they worked.

Going to Hogwarts was hard, especially with Kadey Sewell around. Alina saw it as her duty to cause her misery. So she never fell short of tormenting Kadey. Alina also made herself known in the school. She didn't want to be a nobody. So she quickly made it known how ruthless she was and her feelings towards Mudbloods.

During her fifth year, Alina joined the Dark Lords ranks and got the Dark Mark branded upon her skin. At first she was proud, but she soon got humiliated and earned the hate of many of the other Death Eaters. It was hard at first but slowly she earned some respect and began spying for the Dark Lord. When the fight started at Hogsmeade, Alina was there fighting alongside her fellow Death Eaters.

It was soon afterwards that she recieved some help from Bellatrix Black. Alina was seen crying and Bellatric [obviously] wasn't happy and told Alina that they couldn't have such emotions when they were death eaters. So Alina agreeed to let Bellatrix help her to release her emotions in her spells.

Alina wasn't just known for her cruelty, but her way with men. In her house she 'slept' around a bit. And soon found herself falling for Phillip Gregory. But after discovering he found Soarise McCloud; a mugblood to be more of his taste. Alina turned bitter and vowed revenge. But she stood by Phillip, for a while. After opening her heart to him she was rejected, and she swore to never let it happen again.

However, when at Rome she tried to punish Soarise, it worked for a while but after a fight the two talked. And Alina realised that Soarise wasn't to blame. And as much as she hated it, she found herself liking the muggleborn. It was then that the two went out and Alina met Nathaniel. Since then the two have stayed in contact, and Alina can honestly say that it's probably love.

Alina couldn't help but smile when Nathanial turned to greet her. It felt good to see his face again, to see that soft smile and to see those gorgeous lips that she missed so much. Oh god how she had missed him. And it was only upon meeting him again that she realised just how much she had. Sure, she had wanted to see him again, but she never realised it was this bad. She just wanted to stay here with him forever, unfortunatly she couldn't. She still had another damn year of Hogwarts to go through.

"You best be careful Nathanial." Alina said smiling when he greeted her and pulled her closer to his body. "If you carry on like this I might end up falling for you." This of course was too late; she had already fallen for him. But she liked to see what else he would do. She could see that he liked her, and she was curious as to how much. Though it seemed cruel, she wanted to test his feelings. She had been hurt too much; she just wanted some security. And she truly hoped that Nathanial could be the man to do that.

As Nathanial led her out of the alcove, Alina rested her head against him. She didn't care much for stars, but she didn't care, as long as she was with Nathanial she didn't mind what they did. As Nathanial made what appeared to be a light hearted joke Alina couldn't help but laugh. "Oh you poor naive thing. I've done much worse, and I highly doubt they'll find out I’m gone. And even if they do I don't care. I do what I want. And they wouldn't dare test me. Not when they know who my father is and the friends that I have." Alina frowned for a moment, it wasn't exactly something to be proud of, and she was a Death Eater after all. And she suspected that it wouldn't be something Nathanial would agree with. For now she'd keep that part quiet... and if the subject ever came up she would tell him. But until then she wouldn't let Nathanial know her dark side.

Looking at the roses that Nathanial had given her, Alina blushed and took in their scent. Nathanial was wrong about one thing; she didn't really enjoy them. But she was flattered by the compliment and the gesture. She knew flowers were a sign of love, especially roses. So she let her feelings towards them go to one side and just enjoyed the fact that Nathanial was being sweet. "It's not cheesy at all, I think it's really sweet Nathanial.... thank you." Alina said softly, she hated the thought of Nathanial thinking that what he was doing was bad. She wanted him to know that he made her happy. "Lets go for both. I could really use some nice Firewhiskey"

As they walked on, Alina felt a rush of adrenaline, it felt good to be sneaking out to see Nathanial, it was like breaking the rules, only far better. The thought of what she was doing and how much she could get in trouble gave Alina an odd pleasure. Which was only intensified by the fact that Alina knew that no one would ever find out. At least, not if she worked hard enough. It was like her own private little secret. And no one, not even Bellatrix or Diomedea could find out about it.

When they stopped, or rather, when Nathanial stopped them, Alina wondered what was going on. But as he turned to face her and pulled her even closer to his body, Alina found she didn't care. Just to be this close to him and to gaze into his eyes stopped her from thinking. His words touched her deeply, no one had ever said that to her. No one had ever told her that she was beautiful, not properly anyway. Nathanial's proposal was so romantic, so much so that Alina couldn't help but let a few tears run down her cheeks. "N-Nathanial" She whispered smiling.

"The simple answer is no. No one has ever truly told me I am beautiful. As for the girl I was with? I didn't expect anything for her either. Usually I’m the one to make the first move... that's why I was so surprised. Because I never thought anyone would take a fancy to me." Putting her hand on Nathanial's chest she swallowed the lump in her throat and sighed with happiness. "And if anyone could know the real me, it's you Nathanial, you don't have to ask. It's yours already." She said, and leaning towards him she put her hand on his cheek and kissed him deeply and with a passion like no other. For once Alina wasn't lying, she truly believed her words, she couldn't see anyone knowing her true self, only Nathanial held that right, and right now he was going to be the only one.
