The year is 4220.
In the future of the human race, the unthinkable has happened.
Unable to stop the rising water levels as the ice caps melted, the continents sank beneath the waves.
Refugees in their millions began to crowd the remaining peaks of land until they too disappeared.
Inventive and resilient as ever, the human race bounced back, creating huge cities which float upon the surface of the water.
Each one is encased in unbreakable Plasticate to protect it from the elements.
With the humans safely rehoused, life could proceed as per usual.
But with all the technology of the future at their fingertips, something is beginning to go wrong.
Artificial intelligence, integral in the conception and realisation of the cities, is beginning to cause problems.
Humanoids are beginning to integrate themselves into the colonies. Indistinguishable from their human counterparts, they are impossible to find if they want to remain hidden.
In the worst hit city of New London, people have started to disappear, and the huge computer systems to fail, bringing the city into meltdown.
In the anarchy of New London's streets, humans and humanoids battle it out for ultimate control.
But who will prevail?
