APPEARANCE:
Despite the fact that Izzy and Ilia are twins, the pair look positively nothing alike. Yes, they’re twins, and there are rare times when the pair resemble each other, but the fact of the matter is, if someone didn’t know it, no one would ever be able to tell the pair are twins. Where Ilia’s features are soft and lighter, Izzy has a darker complexion and much darker hair and eyes. In fact, if a person were looking at her straight on, and once again didn’t know her, they probably couldn’t tell she was completely blind. Where most blind people have faded or cloudy eyes, Isabella’s eyes are the same shade of hazel-brown that they’ve been since she was born. The fact that Ilia and Izzy are twins is questioned by anyone who doesn't know them on nearly every occasion.

Despite her disability, Izzy is fairly easy on the eyes. She’s curvy, has deliciously colored chocolate hair, and always presents herself with an air of confidence that just makes her stand out. She’s simply attractive, though somehow not overbearingly so. She doesn't, however, crave the attention. She keeps her robes at normal sizes, and anything she wears that's more standard clothing is made to fit her comfortably- not to be flashy, snug, or too showy. Its obvious that she's comfortable with herself and her appearance, and that she doesn't like to flaunt her looks in any way at all. She's comfortable with being herself, and the way she is, and that's all that really matters to her.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Between all siblings, there are major differences, and with the Malvae siblings, this couldn’t be more true. Izzy is confident, true to herself, outspoken, and believes things the way she wishes to believe them. She isn’t afraid to give her opinion to people and certainly has no trouble with defending her side or point of view in an argument. She’s friendly, however, and positively loves to spend time with her friends and loved ones. Despite how different and opposite they are, the Malvae twins are as close as they can possibly get and neither are ashamed of the fact. Though where Ilia is annoyed with Craven’s over protective side, Izzy is rather fond of her big brother’s compassion to defend her and her honor.

When Isabella first went blind, she stopped speaking as well. She had become quiet and reserved, and didn’t wish for anyone to be around her. As time passed, however, she became her sweet, playful self once again, though learning to maneuver her way through life differently put a few bumps and bruises on her attitude. There are times when she can be feisty and harsh, though she’s normally just her sweet tempered, well mannered self.

WHATS IN THE PAST:
Compared to her siblings, Isabella Malvae has led a rather simple life. She’s never done anything extraordinary and doesn’t really mind the fact that she isn’t greatly accomplished. Though where her siblings have flourished through sports and laughter, Izzy has always had music to fall back on. The girl is multi-talented, to say the least. She can sing, just as well if not better then her twin, and she has a fine knack for stringed instruments, mostly the floor harp and the piano. She started in on music lessons at a young age and has continued on up to present. Even when she went blind, music seemed to be the only thing driving the girl on. Over her years at Hogwarts, one of the first things she learned to transfigure (with the help of her favorite Professor, no less) were a piano and a floor harp so that she could continue her practices without skipping a beat. This fact made school that much more tolerable for her when things got especially rough, and the musical talent she possesses has been her source of solace since she went blind.

Most tend to wonder just how Izzy went blind, though she hardly talks about it. Simply because there’s no dire tale of woe or tragedy involved. When she was twelve, Isabella fell ill and developed a blistering fever. For quite a while, the Healers were convinced the brunette wouldn't pull through at all. She seemed to be getting worse and the fever only seemed to be taking her further and further down towards ultimate doom. This ultimately ended up taking her sight from her, but not her determination to carry on. So once she was able to find her baring, the middle Malvae child returned to Hogwarts and set about continuing her life as if nothing had changed. Finding her way around the school and learning to do everything without her vision took a while, but she managed and is still managing to this day.

RP EXAMPLE:
It had been a few days since Isabella had managed to escape her sister and venture outside. Since the group had returned from Rome, Ilia had seemed a bit clingy and over-talkative- not that Izzy was complaining- and while she loved her sister with every ounce of her heart, escaping her younger twin for a while was a nice change. However, the idea of venturing out into the dark, going to the lake to meet Ben again had been something that caused the blind girl to hesitate greatly for a while. She remained in the common room, pacing the length of the floor for nearly ten or fifteen minutes past the time she was supposed to meet the boy. What if he didn't show up again? What if another Slytherin were to find her while she was on her own and put her back into the Hospital Wing. Perhaps that was why Ilia was being so clingy to her all day long. The thought hadn't really crossed her mind up until that point.

Still, somehow she'd managed to talk herself into going, and now here she was, venturing across the grounds with the air of one who knew them by heart. And she did. The smells, the sounds, the different textures of the ground as she walked across them. All of it were things Isabella had mapped down in her head to keep her from getting lost while she was venturing about outside. When the smell of the lake became much stronger, she halted her steps. Her brow creased for a moment as she listened, she was a bit closer to the water then she had originally intended, but at least she wasn't getting her shoes or anything wet. It made her smile, just how precise her senses could be while she wandered about. It made her feel less needy of other people, and definitely more independent.

"Ben?" Her voice rang out over the sound of the water splashing against the shore. Slowly she turned and walked a few paces along the shore line, one of her hands lifting to brush her hair away from her face, "Ben, where are you?" For a brief moment, she felt the sting of panic flare through her when she heard foot steps- close foot steps- but after a moment of simply listening to them, a smile touched her lips and Izzy turned about to face the boy she was meant to be meeting up with. "There you are."
