Safe? Nice? Pleasant? Well, you're not describing the wizarding world there. It was probably nice once upon a time, but with the rise of violence and destruction, it'll be a long while before it's even clean, rather than safe. To sum up things quickly, death is more common than it raining in Britain. Yes, it seems evil is prevailing at last and the people of the wizarding world are the ones suffering. But it's not only the wizarding folk who are being murdered in the most brutal ways imaginable, no, muggles are suffering as well. Muggle baiting is becoming a more popular sport as Quidditch. The Ministry is in complete chaos and the Prophet has dubbed them, 'The Monkeys'. Not a very imaginative name, but, it does sum them up. Vampires and Werewolves are completely out of control and any rules or regulations they were once under have been forgotten, and most likely destroyed. But, maybe one of the most shocking things? The (newer) Dark Lord's behind none of this. Yes, he's still around, but he's decided to let these creatures run riot. Reason being? He knows they have a lot more power between them than he and his Death Eaters do, so, he'll let them run The Ministry down into disrepair, before attacking. Sounds simple? Well, it's far from it.
People are having their heads cut off in the dark alleys, violent gangs of vampires are roaming the streets, people are being murdered in the most brutal ways, shootings, stabbings, people being beaten to death and to top it all off, The Ministry is doing nothing to stop it. The world is dangerous and everywhere you turn, you're at risk of being stabbed in the back. You can trust no one but yourself. Dead bodies are slowly filling up the street of Knockturn Alley and Diagon Alley is become a ghost town. More and more people are fleeing from Britain, in search of refuge else where. Problem is, it's happening in every country. France, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany... you name it, it's happening. World wide chaos and terror has landed and it's only a matter of time before Tristian and his lot wipe out whole countries and communities. No one is brave enough to make a stand against these atrocities from happening, not even The Order. We're doomed unless something is done, but unless we all stand together and fight, it's not going to happen. The world has turned into an ugly and violent place, not a place you want to live in, so ask yourself; do you really want to be here? How we're going to survive this one is a true 'mystary' indeed.
