Raiden has always been kind of quiet, but coming in his first year as the only Hufflepuff boy made him moreso, and Raiden withdrew into his own little existence despite sharing a dorm with all the older boys. Luckily, though, Ted made his way into Raiden's shell, and has been steadily drawing the boy out into the open ever since. Raiden looks up to Ted the same as his own little brother looks at him, and Raiden trusts Ted completely.
"Teddy, seriously, I love you in the most platonic way imaginable. I'd start singing if I wasn't sure you'd sock me for it. But I know that you know where I sleep, and I don't doubt your ability to castrate me with no hands, so I think I'll just leave it at that."

Jude and Ted go way back- forever back, really, if you think about it. Initially thrust into a dorm together with a couple other Hufflepuff boys, the two have developed a close friendship, and will both do anything to help each other out.
"Ted is a great bloke, honestly. Having had to live in close proximity for a long time, I can say for a fact that he's not the most organized of guys, but he makes up for his sloppiness in heart."

Amos and Ted- same house, same year. Need one say more? Yes? Well, despite Amos' pig-headed attitude sometimes, he knows Ted is one of the guys he can honestly rely on, and hopes it's vice-versa. Jokes and secrets are always shared.
"Ahh, Ted. No fan club, but that doesn't diminish his values as a guy too much. He's honestly one of the greatest friends I reckon I'll ever have."

James hasn't known Ted for all that long- only since the start of the year, actually. They've done a couple of patrols together, and have talked a little bit, but James reckons that Ted is a good guy and as a result, Ted is firmly ensconced in James's good books. Plus, Ted's with Andy, and as a result James has had more of a chance to converse with him and get to know him.
"He's a nice guy, from what I've seen. Easy to talk to, and he has a good head on his shoulders...which should be a problem, but I like the fact that he's sensible. Also, if Andromeda likes him enough to marry him, that says a lot of excellent things about his character."

Andy and Ted met when Andy was a fourth year and Ted was a fifth year. Despite him being a muggle born, Andy thought he was extremely cute and funny. This shocked her friends, since his slightly goofy behavior would normally have made the Gryffindor roll her eyes and smack him on the head. However, it was different with Ted. They got to know each other and got on surprisingly well. At the end of Andy's fifth year and Ted's sixth the two started dating, secretly of course, and are still dating. Andy's not about to tell her family, since Ted's blood lineage would make her family freak out and bar her from ever seeing him again.
"Teddy's an amazing boy... man. He's got such a wonderful sense of humor and is so kind to everyone he comes in contact with. I love him to death and couldn't imagine finding a better man. I mean come on, who else could move me to write things this sappy?"
