Why?: Adessa doesn't really know Raiden all that well, but it isn't for lack of trying. Yes, she is aware of the fact that he had a bit of a thing for her, but it was during a fairly difficult time in the girl's life (confusing, one would say) and she wasn't ready for a relationship. Since then, however, she has tried to become at least good friends, but classes and schedules have proved to make this difficult.

Why?: When Raiden first came to the dorms, he was far too quiet and reclusive for the friendly Hufflepuff house he had been sorted in. Ted immediately understood and took Raiden under his wing and brought the boy further and further out of his shell. The pair have been almost like brothers ever since.

Why?: Raiden and Rin have been close forever, and as of their last year, they became even closer. Things got a bit rocky over the summer term, but apparently things weren't quite as bad as Rin first thought them to be, and therefore everything seems to be perfectly fine- and then some- between the two.
