APPEARANCE:
Lily is not someone who can just blend into the crowd. That is, unless you have a crowd full of tall redheads. Lily’s hair is a fiery red that falls in loose curls. Lily used to hate her hair with a fiery passion, but she has since grown to accept it, though she certainly doesn’t want to pass down the gene to her children someday. Lily had always had her bangs grown out until this last summer when she cut her hair and decided to go for the bang look. Her hair doesn’t often want to behave to do anything, so usually Lily leaves her hair down though occasionally she tried to force it to do something.

Lily’s emerald green eyes are perhaps the only feature Lily actually loves about herself. Lily’s almond shaped green eyes are really rather pretty. Her eyes show her emotion rather easily though be that rage, happiness, or sadness, and it’s hard to keep what she truly feels hidden from anyone.

Lily is on the tall side (for girls) and has a slim figure. She also has pale skin as is common for redheads. Lily never tans, but if she spends more than an hour out in the sun with out putting on a sun block potion she burns. She also has a few freckles that sprinkle her face whenever she spends too much time in the sun. Lily tends to dress in pastel colors or emerald green. She doesn’t dress overly fashionable, but she is usually dressed well enough. Over all, Lily’s looks are either considered pretty or just… not. It really depends on taste, though she has managed to catch the eye of more than one guy at Hogwarts including both James Potter and Severus Snape.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Lily is a very kind person, as long as you don’t get on her bad side. She’s always willing to help a first year find their way to class or to tutor a fifth year in Potions, or even just to sit there and listen to your problems. She has a rather likable personality, and adults almost always love her. Her kind, charming side has caught the eye of more than one guys’ attention. She’s totally oblivious to this fact though. Nothing irritates Lily more than when people pick on other people just because they’re stronger and they believe they’re superior to them. Lily always stands up for the underdog, and she strongly dislikes anyone who would look down at her or anyone because of their blood, age, gender, sexuality, brains, or anything. Lily hates muggleborn prejudices and once she graduates she wants to do whatever she can to help in the war even if it puts her plans of being a healer and having a family on hold.

As kind as Lily is, she does have the redhead temper. She’s unusually patient with the first year who just can’t get the Potion right, but when someone decides to act like an obnoxious jerk *coughPottercough* her temper flairs up and she has quite the set of lungs. She is also quite the dueler and she’s thrown a jinx or two when she was angry along with a few broken noses. This usually happens when someone throws a derogatory remark, be it towards her or someone weaker than them, or when Potter hits on her.

Lily is a bit of a perfectionist. She believes rules are there for a reason, and it irritates her when people go out of their way to break rules. This is probably a large part of the reason she got prefect and then head girl along with her kind nature and willingness to stick up for people weaker than her. Every person needs to have a good healthy rule breaking moment every so often, and occasionally Lily’s friends can get her to let loose and have a little bit of fun. Lily also excels in many of her classes. Despite the fact she’s a muggleborn, or perhaps in spite of, she’s extremely talented in both Potions and Charms. Teachers love Lily because she always turns her work in on time and it’s never a half-try job. Professor Slughorn is especially fond of Lily and has told her more than once that she’d have made an excellent Slytherin, something she always has a witty retort about.

WHATS IN THE PAST:
Lily Evans was born into a normal muggle family. Her mother was a stay at home mum, and her father was a doctor. Lily Evans was the second born. She had an older sister named Petunia, or Tuney as she continued to call her even after she learned to say her whole name, Lily and Petunia were close as children. Lily was a very likable child. She was friendly, smart, and pretty. Lily excelled in all her classes at school and most people liked her. Petunia however was only an average child. She was average smart and had average looks. Petunia still loved her sister though even though she was a bit envious of her sister. Lily never realized this and she adored her older sister and looked up to her. Lily’s family might have been ordinary, but weird things seemed to happen around her, and Lily could do strange things that most children couldn’t do.

One day a boy with oddly matched clothing who badly needed a shower approached the girls and told them that Lily was a witch. At first Lily didn’t believe him, but when he explained things to her Lily was instantly curious about this whole new world. Lily and Severus began spending a lot of time together, and even came to be best friends.

When Severus Snape talked to the girls that day on the playground Petunia really didn’t like him. Here was some kid from Spinner’s End for goodness sake telling them that her sister was more special than Petunia in yet another way. She didn’t believe him, but when Lily got her letter and the Hogwarts person came to tell them about the school and Petunia realized it was true the jealousy grew until it finally broke when Lily was leaving for Hogwarts the first time she called her sister a freak.

On the train Lily and Severus met James Potter and Sirius Black and the rivalry between Severus and James began. Much to Snape’s dismay Lily was sorted into Gryffindor along with Sirius and James. Still, through out the years they remained friends. Lily made friends in her own house and excelled in her classes, Potions and Charms in particular. She also caught the eye of James Potter who began asking her out on a daily basis much to her, and Snape’s, annoyance. In her fifth year Lily was made a Prefect.

Lily remained friends with Sev until that day at the end of their fifth year when Snape called her mudblood when she was trying to stick up for him front of Potter. Lily had long sense grown annoyed with Snape’s friends, and she called off their friendship later that night. Now Lily is entering her seventh and final year at Hogwarts. She’s been appointed as Head Girl for her final year much to her joy.

Lily Evans sat on the large steps of the hotel her arms wrapped around her knees staring out at the sunrise. She was wearing a mint green sundress and she had a pair of black sunglasses pushed up on top of her head, her red curls laying loose over her shoulders. She had on her favorite necklace. A simple silver heart necklace her parents had given her for her seventeenth birthday, it was simple but pretty. She had a pair of white flip flops on her feet and she was ready for a day of touring Rome. She had gotten up early though to see the sunrise. She had never been one to sleep in every day anyways. She had always been an early riser.

She sat there watching the sunrise. Lily had always had a thing for sunrises. She prefered them to sunsets, and when ever she went to a new place she always watched at least one sunrise if it was possible. So she had gotten up early that morning for this soul reason. Besides, she'd rather not be there when that girl was there. Most of the people in her room worked out perfectly. Roxie and Isabella were nice girls, and Liesl was such a dear. Diomedia Rosier was not on Lily's list of favorite people. She was rude and snobby and thought she was better than everyone in the room. She had insulted them all more than once. Lily didn't usually hate people, but Rosier really really irked her.

Lily was off in her own little world when she heard a noise behind her. Lily turned around to see who it was.
