APPEARANCE:
Tristain is a very attractive guy. If you like that tall, rugged, muscular sort of thing. He knows he’s good looking and uses it to his advantage. Tristain has brown hair that he tends to style the same way everyday. Tristain hates shaving, and so he tends to have a bit of stubble more often than not that sets off an ‘I don’t care’ sort of look.

His eyes are kind of a plain brown, but it’s the one thing he inherited from his mum rather than his father. His father never looks him the eye though because of that, much like he won’t hardly look at his own daughter because of how much he resembled her mother.

Despite Tristain’s dislike for the standard stuff with rules he enjoys Quidditch quite a bit, and he flies almost everyday. Despite that like any teenage boy Tristain eats nonstop, he’s still quite in shape, and has a nicely toned body from flying and lifting weights something he does quite often. .

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Tristain has an extremely rough exterior. He appears as nothing more than an arrogant, selfish jerk who only cares about himself to most people. Parts of that are true though. He is incredibly arrogant and self-centered. He also hates following rules and doing ‘what is expected of him.’ He hates getting close to people because he believes that most relationships will just hurt you in the end, and he doesn’t believe the good out ways the bad because of the way he’s seen his father react to his mother’s death.

Tristain will flirt or go on dates with girls as long as it’s ‘no strings attached.’ He’ll never have a real relationship though. In all fairness, Tristain does make sure that the girl knows that he has no desire to have a real relationship, but he still ends up hurting a few. All he thinks he’s doing is trying to stop himself from getting hurt the same way his father did when his mother died.

Underneath this all Tristain really isn’t a bad guy. Sure, he’s arrogant, selfish, uses girls, and can’t get over his mother’s death, but he’s still isn’t a bad person, especially compared to many. Tristain would never hurt someone defenseless just because he was bored. He knows the difference between right and wrong, and he only crosses the line slightly. He’s stubborn as hell though, and he won’t admit that he would help someone if they needed it.

Tristain does have a sense of humor, and he’s incredibly smart even though he rarely does homework. He’s very sarcastic, and he’s not against teasing people. He also loves to read. He’s read countless books, and he’ll read almost anything whether he likes it or not, which is not something he shares with too many people.

WHATS IN THE PAST:
Michael and Mandy met at a Yule Ball hosted by Michael’s parents when he was 18 and she was 15. The two hit it off despite their differences and they were engaged before he had graduated and married shortly after she graduated. The two were truly in love despite their differences. Mandy was a sweet, quiet, Ravenclaw who spent most of her time with her nose in a book. She was pureblood, but she didn’t care about that in the slightest. Michael was a sarcastic, loud, outgoing Slytherin, who was pureblood and proud. There was just something between the two, and they were happy most of the time. Michael managed to keep his temper in control most of the time, and he spent time with his family even though he had never been much of a kid person.

That is until Allison was born. When Mandy died shortly after giving birth to Allie, Michael was crushed. He buried himself in his work and hired a nanny for nine year old Tristain and baby Allison. Michael was hardly ever home, and when he was he couldn’t even stand to look at Allison because of her resemblance to Mandy. Tristain however loved Allison because of her resemblance to his mother. He grew to resent his father because of the way he reacted to Mandy’s death. Tristain hates that Michael is never there, and that his baby sister has to be raised by strangers. He’s always home for the holidays, and Tristain and Allison are very close even though Tristain won’t get close to any other girls. A few years ago, Tristain decided that as soon as he graduated he would take his sister away from his dad and finish raising her himself.

It was a beautiful day outside. Perfect for lazing about, possibly doing a bit of flirting. Though really he'd much rather just spend a few hours with his best mates. The two had gotten girlfriends and the girlfriends took up quite a bit of time. He was happy for his friends. Well, he was happy they were happy. He worried about them, but perhaps they could pull off the whole relationship thing. Danielle and Saorise were pretty girls and they seemed nice. Saorise had a temper that amused Tristain to no end. Danielle was that annoyingly sweet nice, but it was hard not to like her. They made his mates happy, so he could hardly hate them. Even if they did suck up what seemed like all their free time.

As much as Tristain wanted to be out that day he could not. Tristain, being the almighty procrastinator that he was, had waited until the last minute to finish his Potions essay. It was due tomorrow at eight and he had written.... a grand total of two lines of his ridiculous 18 inch essay. d**n Slughorn and his term paper. So Tristain was spending what was likely to be the rest of the day and a large chunk of the night in the library. There was a very good chance the Slytherin wouldn't get any sleep tonight. So he merely got a glance out the doors into the air that was no longer cold before marching up to the doom of the musty library.

He walked into into the dark corners of the library where the librarian had told him one of the many books he needed for the dreadful report. He was searching the shelf when he saw an unfortunately familiar face sitting on a dark couch. Diomedia Rosier. A sixth year Slytherin who was the very essence of the word cold-hearted bitch. The girl was one of the meanest girls he knew, and he was in Slytherin for Merlin's sake. Sure, the blonde was most certainly hott with her long blonde hair and often revealing clothing. He had noticed that more than once. Personally though, he preffered brunettes. He didn't hate her. He just... didn't really care for her in the slightest.

He attempted to sneak off before the blonde noticed him. She already looked like she was in a bad mood. If he had to spend all day in the library it would be best not to start it off with a confrontation from Diomedia Rosier. Instead of successfully sneaking off he knocked over a large stack of books and the books landed on Diomedia's lap. That was sure to set off her temper. He swooped forward to attempt damage control before Madame Pomfrey kicked him out. He'd never finished the dreaded essay then. He began picking up the books quickly. "Sorry about that," he said turning on the charm. "These stacks of books really ought to be taken care of," he said giving the blonde a wink. A little flirting never hurt anyone, and he was sure she didn't know what he really thought of her anyways.
