{ About The CHARACTER }
x Alexandria Laura Perret"Lexy"
CANNON OR ORIGINAL: Original YEAR: 7th AGE: 17 DOB: August 14, 1960 RACE: White GENDER: Female SEXUALITY: Straight WAND: 11 in, birch, unicorn hair core BROOM: n/a PET: A brown kitten named Grace
APPEARANCE: Lexy is a pretty girl, though she doesn’t think of that as something about her. She has the stereo-type good looks. She’s fairly tall, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Her blonde hair falls shortly past her shoulders and she usually leaves it down in its natural curls, though occasionally she’ll straighten it with a simple spell or fix it up. Lexy would rather spend a few extra minutes going over an essay due that day or reading a chapter of whatever novel she happens to be reading that morning then spend long amounts of time fixing her hair or doing her make-up which is why she hardly ever wears make-up.
Lexy’s eyes are blue, but they don’t really stand out that much unless she happens to be wearing dark blue. Lexy’s clothes outside of her school robes tend to be the latest styles in muggle or witch wear. Her mother writes the fashion column for Witch’s Weekly and is constantly sending her guilt gifts of accessories, clothes, and shoes. Lexy is almost always smiling. She always has a bright and cheery grin to give to anyone who’s feeling down. FACE CLAIM: Maggie Grace
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: If you only got one word to describe Lexy most people would choose happy. Lexy is nearly always happy no matter how bad her life is. She tends to look on the positive side of things, and has an uncanny ability to cheer people up quite easily. She’s also very outgoing. She’ll talk to a complete stranger as if she’d known them her whole life. She's friendly and more than one person has poured out their soul to Lexy. Lexy is also a very light sleeper so no one can have a bad dream or cry themselves to sleep in her dorm with out Lexy knowing it and being there in a second to give them a shoulder to cry on.
She is also far too trusting. This is part of the putting her whole heart into things. When she hears a sob story, she'll fall for it because she always assumes that people are good until proven otherwise. Innocent until proven guilty. She also believes that people can change, and gives far too many second chances.
Lexy is also quite smart. At least book smart, she lacks a few certain aspects of common sense. (Like trusting people when all evidence points against them.) She loves to read and write. When she was little, books were often her only companion, and that's part of the reason she wants to write books someday. So she can give lonely girls out there a companion and a chance to escape from reality. She constantly has her nose in a book, or her pen in a notebook. Lexy loves to study and learn. She’s a smart girl, and she excels in most of her classes. BOGGART: Herself, completely alone PATRONUS: A butterfly HOPES FOR THE FUTURE: -To receive high marks on all of her NEWTs -To be an author -To have a family of her own -To travel the world
SPECIAL ABILITIES: n/a BLOOD: Pure BIRTHPLACE: England MY FAMILY: Parents: Cindy and Charles Perret_ WHATS IN THE PAST: Lexy's mother was Cindy James before she got married to Lexy's father. The James family was a wealthy pureblood family that was dying out. Cindy was an only child, and she was spoiled and got away with doing whatever she wanted. She always got the very best of things, and to her all that mattered were material things.
Lexy's father grew up as the oldest child and the only male of his parents. So, he was automatically the heir to his parents' money and all that came with it. Charles Perret had two younger sisters. One of them married in a well to do family, and the other ran away with a muggle to America. The family tends to pretend it never happened, and that she never existed.
Charles and Cindy were betrothed when she was four and he was seven. They were married after Cindy graduated. It was a love-less marriage, but both had their material possessions. Charles has a job at the Ministry, and Cindy writes a fashion column for Witch's Weekly. Both of her parents’ jobs require a lot of traveling. Lexy was born on a hot night in August Lexy spent her whole life with her parents always gone for week long vacations, business trips, parties, and other social events. Her father worked for the Ministry and her mother was never home during the day or she had company over and Lexy was required to 'stay out of the way.' For the first ten years of her life Lexy had a nanny who took care of the blonde when her parents were away, which was always. Perhaps Lexy would have grown up with the same views as her parents in matters of blood and class. She might have grown up snobby and full of herself. Her nanny raised her and Lexy loved her more than she loved her own parents. When Lexy was eight her nanny suddenly left one day with out saying good bye and when Lexy asked her mother why she just said, 'She wasn't fit for the job, stop asking questions.' Lexy was never told anymore than that.
Her parents decided that she was old enough to take care of herself, and she was often left home completely alone. In her solitude she took up reading and lived her lonely, event less life escaping away to different worlds and living through someone else. This allowed her to grow very independent and she learned how to take care of herself. When she goes home for summer she'll often go to stay with friends or friends will come stay with her if her parents are away. It didn’t bother Charles in the slightest to leave Lexy alone, but Cindy feels guilty and is constantly sending Lexy clothes and other items from work though really Lexy would just rather that she send her a good book.
Lexy had a few 'boyfriends' in her first few years at Hogwarts, but they were like many preteen girls' boyfriends are. Really just guy friends. She’s still friends with the few guys she dated in those early years. In her fifth year Lexy dated Mark Turner. Mark was a seventh year Slytherin guy who convinced Lexy he wasn't a bad guy and that he had changed. The two began dating, but when Lexy didn't want to 'take the next step' and she found out he was cheating on her the two broke up. She hasn't dated anyone since, but she’s much happier with out him than she was with him. She’s never regretted the decision in the slightest.

RP EXAMPLE: Lexy awoke suddenly. She was usually a rather light sleeper so just about any noise easily woke her up. Normally she'd just roll over and fall right back asleep, but tonight, something felt different. Something was not right. She looked from side to side. Her usual 3 AM people were fast asleep.
Neither of them looked like they were having a nightmare. Perhaps the reason she got so close to Dessy and Abby was due to the fact that she awoke so easily, and when they had their nightmares, she had been their for them.
Somebody was in the bathroom though. Somebody was upset, and they were sick, and they were trying to be quiet.
London, above Abby, was perfectly fine. She was fast asleep; London was an extremely heavy sleeper. Lisa and Esme were fine. Nobody was even out of bed or awake as far as she could see which meant.... "Lisette," she whispered quietly.
She quickly threw her covers off and stepped out of bed. Her feet went into her slippers and she threw her robe on. It was freezing cold. She walked over to the girls' bathroom and knocked gently on the door before she gently opened it.
She gasped. She wasn't prepared for what she saw. Lisette, her Lisette, strong, never breaks down; Lisette was sitting in the tub clutching her stomach. The dark haired girl had tears running down her face, and strands of hair were sticking to her face. She looked so helpless. It just... wasn't Lisette. Lisette was one of the strong ones. The only time she had been weak was when her parents died. This was nothing like that though. Lisette was sick, and Lisette didn't GET sick. There was something else wrong though. She didn't just have a virus, Lexy was sure of it.
"Oh Lisette!" she said rushing over to the girl. "Are you okay Dear?" she asked her. "What a stupid question, of course you're not okay. A much better question would be what on earth is wrong?" She wanted to throw her arms around the girl and pull her into a hug. It would have been rather hard in their present situation. So Lexy was kneeling by the side of the bath and she picked up her hand gently almost instinctively. ANSWER: Snape loved Lily OTHER:

I know you complained about it before on prongs, but I still can't stop seeing her as a Hufflepuff. Plus, you always use her a motherly figure. I see that as a Hufflepuff trait. I know you wrote about book smarts, but you did mention the common sense thing. I picture Ravenclaws as having that wit.
Also, please add something!Argh, I was afraid of this! I know exactly where it comes from, and if I were you I'd say the same thing to me. But when I think about her sorting, I take into account how she was at age 11, which was a major bookworm. I've just always seen her as a Ravenclaw, you know? Could I have a chance to try and edit more Ravenclaw into her? I REALLY want her as a Ravenclaw, but if I can't I understand. Actually, even when she's a Ravenclaw I sometimes think of her as Hufflepuff. She's has too many Hufflepuff-like traits, I'm afraid. You could modify the application, but I don't see how that'll change LEXY, you know? I can stick by with Hufflepuff, perhaps someone else can see her as a Ravenclaw. You know what? I think you're right. She is too much of a Hufflepuff. Perhaps I'll convert her back next year and add more of the Ravenclaw traits. Go ahead, sort her where you please. =)
