APPEARANCE:
Andromeda has long, thick, brown hair. She usually wears it down, but when she's studying or working she always puts it up in a ponytail. Because of this, she keeps a hair rubber band on her wrist at all times in case she needs to get her hair out of her face. Andromeda is medium height, but she has long legs, which give her a willowy figure. She's a good weight since she plays quidditch and runs everyday. Having the Black family features, Andromeda has an extremely sophisticated, stuck up look about her, though she isn't stuck up. She has a small, pointed nose, drooping eyelids, and a slightly pointed chin. Her bone structure is delicate and she looks every bit the imposing figure that is customary of her family. Andromeda's eyes are a dark brown and they have a fiery spark in them. Whenever Andromeda smiles, she usually smirks, but her full smile is very pretty and softens her features.

Andromeda normally wears sophisticated clothes. Though she likes to be comfortable, her clothes are definitely more expensive than most. Because of her family's money, she can afford to buy the best clothes that will last awhile because they are well built. She has good sense of style and always looks put together. Andromeda prefers muted tones to bright colors, and is often seen wearing red, burgundy, plum, or dark green.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Andromeda can be an imposing person. Some people say that when you look at her, you feel like she's mocking you. This is probably true, actually. Andromeda has an extremely quick wit and always has a sarcastic retort to most everything. She delights in mocking stupid people and can come off as a bit cruel at points. The girl's basic consensus about society is that, 'most people in this world are idiots... it's just most of them don't know it'. In some ways, Andromeda takes it on herself to inform the people of their stupidity. Andromeda is what people call a pessimist. She usually expects the worse and is usually pleasantly surprised. She can have a temper when provoked and is quick to call upon her knowledge of jinxes and hexes.

However, Andromeda can be a kind person as well. When she deals with people she cares about, she can be supportive and caring. She's very protective of her friends and always comes to their defense. She's also extremely rebellious. She's always trying to find ways to annoy her family, though she's never gone far enough to bring permanent displeasure upon herself... yet. Her mother and her always engage in battles of words and she always has a sarcastic comment to direct toward her mother. Andromeda is quite fond of wine and firewhiskey, and keeps stashes around Hogwarts. Every now and then she smokes, but she doesn't let it become a habit.

WHATS IN THE PAST:
Andromeda is the second born of the Black girls. She has an older sister named Bellatrix and a younger sister named Narcissa. Like most of her relatives, Andromeda was born into great wealth and prestige, the Black family being one of the richest and oldest pure-blood families in Wizarding England. The Black girls are only a year apart, and since Andromeda was the middle child she never got much attention. Of course, that didn't bother the girl and she mostly entertained herself. The Black family estate is right outside of London and the house is quite huge. Andromeda spent much of her childhood exploring the house, playing games, and imagining all sorts of stories about the house. Because of this her imagination still has a tendency to run wild.

The Dawkins manor is close to the Black manor, and Andromeda made great friends with Lan and Liesl and always ran over to play with them. She was also good friends with Rabastan Lestrange, though she always felt wary around the boy. She got along pretty well with her sisters, though they were always in competition with each other. Each girl had a biting tongue and a good amount of meanness in them, and this made for interesting cat fights among the sisters. Ever since she was young enough to understand, Andromeda knew that her parents would pick out who she would marry. The independent girl didn't like this fact at all, and though she seemed to go along with her mother, she secretly willed never to marry someone she didn't love. How much of this sentiment was romantic and how much was rebellion Andromeda still can't figure out.

When she turned eleven, Andromeda received her Hogwarts letter and her parents proudly sent her off to Hogwarts, confidant that they would have another Slytherin. However, when the sorting hat was placed on the girl's head, the word that was uttered was, 'Gryffindor'. A shock went through the Great Hall, and Andromeda's mouth hung open. That night she received a letter from her mother telling her just how disappointed the family was. This angered the Andromeda, and she wrote back that her mother should just take it up with the sorting hat, because she didn't do a thing. Ever since then she and her mother constantly exchange biting remarks to each other. Andromeda has enjoyed being a Gryffindor and made many friends. She's also managed to annoy her parents and family as much as humanly possible, which is an upside to her.

RP EXAMPLE: Matt sat on his bed, absorbed in a book he had found in his father's library. It was a thick, old book that was written by a German author, so Matt was having to use all of his concentration to grasp the story. However, he had always enjoyed a challenge and he was becoming engrossed in the story. Downstairs, he heard a door slam and a voice calling out his name. “Reading, Mum!” He yelled back to his mother. He heard an 'OK' come from downstairs and he went back to his book.

As he was finishing up a particularly interesting chapter, he heard two sets of legs come stampeding up the stairs. His two younger siblings appeared at the door, Ben holding Angelle's hand. The younger boy told Matt that it was almost time for supper. Nodding, Matt looked back down at his book, hoping to at least finish up the chapter. Instead, Angelle crawled on his bed and sat right in front of him, staring at his face.

Sighing, Matt put the book down and looked back at Angelle. “I'm guessing this means ya want me to come downstairs with ya?” He asked, a slightly annoyed look on his face. The little blond shook her head, pointing out the window instead. “Twampawine!” She stated, nodding emphatically.

Matt put his head to one side and gave his sister a confused look. He ran the word over in his mind a couple of times before he realized that Angelle was saying 'trampoline'. Shutting his book and getting off of his bed, he swung his sister into his arms and headed downstairs. “OK, Angel. But I'm not jumping with ya on my back this time.” He said, giving his sister a serious look. Angelle just nodded and clapped her hands, letting out a giggle. Matt grinned back at her and swung her up on his shoulders. The book could just wait until later.
ANSWER: They killed Ted and Nymphadora. That's just horrible for my character.
