APPEARANCE:
Risi as long dark hair, she loves it, it is one of her favorite things about her, though her favorite has to be her icy blue eyes. She it tall and the typical tom-boyish type, she is lean and has a little more muscle than a girl at her age would have, likely from all the training she does with Karate and her morning routine or yoga and jogging.

She is a little shorter than average, around 5'3" and she does not mind that she is that short. She likes the fact that she is petite. She finds that her height is proportionate to her size and it works for her. Contrary to popular belief, thanks to the girly-ness of her best friend Dani, she can be rather cute when she wants to be.

She has a rather bright smile and she likes using her smile to catch people off guard. Many people think that she is just some tom-boy, but she cleans up rather nicely, and she really is a sweet girl, she just is a little bit of a fiercer friend than anyone is prepared for.

Saorise has another little shocker about her, many people know that she is from America, but they were not expecting something as severe as her accent. She does have an American accent, but it is a Southern accent, so a few people make fun of her but she is not easily bothered by it, she loves her accent, she feels it makes her unique and she would rather be against the tide and with it.

She has a creamy complexion and she does not really go out in the sun too much, she will go out to train or things, or if Dani drags her out to tan or something, other than that she keeps to training and Qidditch mostly, nothing serious, but then again Dani gets a hold of her more often than not, so she comes across with a rather nice tan even though her natural hue is slightly darker than Dani.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Saorise, fondly known as Risi, is a rather interesting girl. People seem to think that she is blessed with the gift of events, for there is really never a dull moment around her, either she does something funny or something funny seems to follow and happen. So she is more likely to be found laughing than anything else. Risi is a fierce friend, and we are not talking figuratively here, she is the type of person who you do not want to get angry. That was how she was raised, not only not to take the flack of others, but to safe guard her friends. So watch out.

She is a very kind person, she would rather smile than frown and she is not one to be found crying over little things. She lives by the motto “Don’t sweat the small stuff, and FYI – Everything is small stuff.” So she is a rather free spirited girl, often mistaken as being ditzy, but again, she is far from that, she is keen and can be rather clever at times.She is a smart girl, earning high marks in her classes, but not enough to score her anything special in the eyes of the teachers, there are others who are smarter than her, and she likes it that way, because she is a laid back kind of girl and she likes to lay low.

She is strong and good willed, she took karate when she was a girl, and still takes it over the summer when she is not at Hogwarts. She is currently a black belt, another reason why not to mess with her. She is slightly prideful, when it comes to who she is around and who her family is, she does not have an issue with bragging about how well a friend did or something, though you will likely never find her bragging about herself, it is just the way she is.

She is rarely ever stern or cold, she does not like to be and she does not really find herself being around people who are. She is a plethora of interesting qualities that make it hard for people to deny that she is in fact a good and fun person to be around, even though she has a little bit of an attitude and she can at times be a little vile, but she tries her hardest not to be like that to people she actually cares about.

HOPES FOR THE FUTURE: She would love to be a professional Quidditch player, but she knows that will likely not happen, but a girl can dream. She wouldn't mind a spot in the Ministry caring for Magical Creatures, or even a job at Hogwarts as the “Care for Magical Creatures” teacher.

WHATS IN THE PAST:
Saorise was born in the United States, and she was raised there, loving America and its entire splendor. She was raised in the southern stare, Georgia, and she went to Morrow Elementary until she was old enough to go to American Academy for Witches and Wizards. Her mother and father, both being muggles did not really know anything about the magical world, so it was a rather large shock for them to find that the odd things that their daughter did over the years landed her a spot at this school, thus they were opened to the world of Witchcraft. Risi took Karate and loved it, earning herself a new found respect for training and for intense standards, she wishes to take other forms of martial arts in her later years, and if her dreams of being a Quidditch Player or working with Magical Creatures falls through she could definitely see herself becoming a Zen master and teaching others. While Saorise was there, a new student came, along with a British accent she came with a rather cheery disposition that often masked the slightly tom-boyish personality that Risi had. And even though Danielle was a girly person, Risi and her stuck together like glue, they were best friends and their mothers became friends as well, Dani's mom was a muggle born, so she knew about the muggle life and it helped Risi's mom cope a little more with a magical daughter when she had someone who knew muggle life and magical life as a friend.

The first year that Dani and Risi spent together was wonderful, until it was drawing to a close. Risi's mother was expecting another baby girl, when Sonja was born she was too weak to live on her own. Sonja was two weeks old when she died and because Des was so hurt by her child being so weak Risi was the one who held Sonja until she drifted to sleep the night she died. Sonja fell asleep in Risi's arms and never woke up. Dani and Risi were almost like twins, on different sides of the spectrum, the yin and yang of friends, Risi, the tom-boy, the fierce friend, and the slight troublemaker, Dani, the bright and cheery girl who would have fit in perfectly as a cheerleader. It is odd that they would be so close, but for some reason opposites attract and they have been inseparable ever since. They were even in the same house!! ::HINT HINT:: xD When Risi found out that Mr. Dawson, aka Papa D., was being transferred back to England, Risi was heartbroken and begged her parents to move to England as well, Dani was one of Risi’s only real friends and she could not stand being from her. So, halfway into her fifth year at the Academy Risi was transferred to Hogwarts. Risi hopes to be reunited with her best friend and she can’t wait until she is fully put into the system at Hogwarts. Her mother and father now resign in London and her mother works at London Beauty, the top hair salon in London, and her father works at London Pediatrics and he is the head Pediatrician there even though he just transferred, seems his reputation made its way to England with them.

Saorise looked around her and sighed softly. She was so nervous but she knew this would help her. Her mother and father said that she seemed so depressed when Dani said she was leaving that her treatments weren't taking. Her mother and father insisted that a move to London would not be that bad of an idea and it would have Risi and Dani reunited. The only thing that worried Risi was that if she passed away while she was around Dani, what would happen if she found out? Risi shook this from her mind as she sat in a cart on the way to her new life at Hogwarts.

There was a crash as she saw a few people rummaging into a snack cart. She opened the door and bought a chocolate frog and a few things of licorice. She smiled and nodded to the woman who looked to her and tilted her head. "Are you new child?" Risi smiled and spoke with a very southern accent to the elderly woman. "Yes ma'am. I am Saorise McCloud. I am from America." The woman smiled brightly and shook her hand before trotting off down the corridor. Risi smiled softly and sighed slightly as she turned back into the cart and sat down once again. The others in the cart were silent, doing things they were doing alone and Risi was not going to bother them. She leaned back and closed her eyes, a soft smile on her face and she chewed on licorice. "Soon Dani... Soon..."
