Suspense and drama, intrigue and mystery, cabals and bureaucracy; many concepts, all of which Hogwarts Revolutions has to offer to new and existing members. Want to be a Department Head dealing with the constant headache of usurp puritists creating havoc for the community? Or a muggle-born student battling prejudice in a society where it has become “cool” to be anything but? How about the obnoxious fellow student that is pureblood – or the half-blood that pretends to be? A teacher dreading the inevitable war between the pupils at Hogwarts, a criminal caught up on the “wrong side,” or an arrogant Gryffindor Alumna on the “right.” Even the innocent bystander whose Quidditch supplies business suffers from the melodramatic hogwash.
In a world where Voldemort was only the beginning, the possibilities are endless.
History has an uncanny way of repeating itself; old horrors ways of becoming the hottest fads. Hogwarts Revolutions, thus named, has taken this concept and used it shamelessly to its advantage. The result? An established Harry Potter fandom, of two years, with ever inclusive and developing plot lines and growing populace.
Founded and released upon the forum-based writing role play community in November of 2005, HR has thrived and lived on ever since. With a boisterous and eccentrically sociable community that doubles over into a talented bunch of writers, Hogwarts Revolutions welcomes moderate to advanced role players into its mist.
