In the distant future, around the year 2600, Colony 6, a spaceship with a pre-established destination, with an objective to search for new forms of life, is forced to crash-land on an unknown planet, which causes the premature awakening of its crew. The interstellar journey, which had been programmed to last 30 years, is interrupted after only 16 years, which arrests the team's physical and cognitive development. Instead of fully grown men and women, we find a pod teenagers who have to deal with a situation for which they aren't fully prepared:

As Tumbling Hills, a supernatural teen drama, starts up production for its second season the returning veteran cast members are surprised by casting changes. Ryan James finds his amount of lines cut into about half and that previously unknown of Castian Carmarthen seems to have taken over his place as the new lead male while his former leading lady Megan Daniels finds herself having to prove that she can hold her own against newcomer Rose Roman, the producer’s daughter. With the new changes all of the veteran cast members start to feel the effects, especially Ryan James.

As Ryan struggles with his demotion he finds himself sliding into darkness that even his fellow cast members tend to deny he could possibly be in. A strong charismatic individual could never fall that far from greatness they keep thinking. The bigger question is who will find him when he hits rock bottom. Will it be his ever adoring teen fans, someone from the set, or the inspiring gossip writer trying to catch her break?
