A comeback?

So it appears many of us are getting a bit nostalgic for the good ol' days of MiniM. I'm totally willing to revive the site if people are interested and two or three people would help me. I can't do graphics and I hate advertising. Plus, it's way too much work.

The big question is we do more like a 'pick up where we left off' type thing, a start over (like as if it were a new year, people can bump what has happened back to the previous year, start all over, that sort of thing), or just create a whole new site? If we stay here obviously we need a make over and an activity check. If we leave it how it is the site can stay in it's former glory and we can just link back for old times sake. If we stay here though we get all the history of the site and all the old threads are here.

So let me know what y'all think! Like I said, I'm willing to work on bringing it back as long as I have people helping me. We also need lots of old members to just come back as members too!

So... what do y'all want to do?

Anyway, I would be more than happy to help you out. I could even do graphics & advertising. I am usually free Fridays and weekends, so yeah. :D

Uhm, as for what to do, I honestly have no idea. On the one hand, I would like to stay, but on the other, I hate to think how much work we have to go through to re-do everything on here. I guess we could keep it and create another. Better codes, & stuff? IDK.

I think we should get on a new site. Like it's been pointed out, it would take a long time to re-do everything here.

I've missed this so much. I've tried joining other sites but it's just not the same. The people are nice but they aren't you guys. I think I may be stubborn but I'm perfectly fine with that. But I'm only going to bring London. She's been unused for far too long.

It would definitely be at least as much work to re-do this site as it would to get a whole new site. Probably more. There are disadvantages and advantages to staying, but I'm with Patty. I think it would be better just to start a whole new site. Of course, I'll be fine either way. (:

I've definitely missed this site too. Like Patty said, it's just never the same on other sites.

Maybe I could bring Lexy back. It's been ages since I played her. Lily of course too. I'm not sure who else though. It would depend on what other members joined. Probably Tristain, because I love him so, and I'm terribly fond of Olivia... ^___^ I'm getting all excited now.

OMG. So, hey guys, I know it's been a looooooong time - I follow Lisette on Tumblr and she posted something about this site possibly being revived and whatnot so I asked her to message me on Twitter about it, and she told me to just make an account again for now so here I am. I'd totally be in for a redo - I haven't been on a solid HP site since I left this one however long ago, and I do miss everything about this place - characters, people, memories, and all.

For the site itself, if you ask me, I think starting from scratch would be a better option because it's a new beginning even if it seems like a lot of hard work at first, and rebuilding from the bottom up is a lot easier than just changing things around. I don't know, that's always my opinion, since I've made a lot of sites on proboards in the last year alone and it's always been easier to move than revamp. I know a lot of people who are looking for a nice HP site to join, and places to plug, and if you did need help with coding or graphics I could help with that as well (since I kind of have no life, haha). But either way, I'm up for anything everyone else wants to do. c:

I'd be open to coming back. I definitely wouldn't be on near as much as I used to, because college is a lot different. At home I could go to my room and spend hours on, but here I have a room mate and never really have any privacy to just sit and write. So yeah, I'd do my best but it would definitely not be like before.

Also, some of my characters have changed a lot in my head, Lan's a little bit more Slytheriny.... can be a jerk sometimes. And Andromeda's a Slytherin in my head now, as is Deirdre.... so they're a bit more.... devious and ambitions haha.
Matt's still Matt and Liesl's still Liesl, though.

So yeah, that's my take on the whole thing lol. I've missed RPing, definitely.

Oh! Would anyone mind, if I do come back, if I try to take up Sirius again? I really enjoy playing that little prick lol.

As far as where the site should be, a new site might just be easier. There'd be so much cleaning up to do over here.

I think all our characters have changed, for the most part. We've all grown up and matured. I've fleshed my characters out some, too.

I guess starting anew would be best. I'm up for it! (Even though I most likely suck now - sorry!) XD

I, too, know someone who might be interested in joining. I'm not sure just yet. But I'd love it if we could all come back.

I just created a board here which I have done quite literally nothing on yet and we can make a different board if y'all want. Makes no difference to me.

So Lisette and Steph, y'all both volunteered to help build the site and be graphic goddesses and such, right? Anyone else want to help?
